Στον παρόντα τόμο του πολυγραφότατου Ληξουριώτη κ. Γ.Γ. Αλισανδράτου συγκεντρώνονται επτά μελετήματα και δύο εκτενείς βιβλιοκρισίες του συγγραφέα, που προέκυψαν από την ασχολία του με το σολωμικό έργο και εμφανίστηκαν σε πρώτες δημοσιεύσεις κατά τη διάρκεια μιας τεσσαρακονταετίας περίπου (1965 - 2002).

Τα άκρως ενδιαφέροντα Σολωμικά Μελετήματα του Γ.Γ. Αλισανδράτου αναδεικνύουν το συγγραφέα τους άριστο γνώστη του έργου του Σολωμού και της τεράστιας σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας. Τα εννέα αυτά μελετήματα προωθούν οπωσδήποτε τις σολωμικές σπουδές και συμβάλλουν στην επίλυση των προβλημάτων του αντικειμένου, τα οποία, 150 χρόνια περίπου μετά το θάνατο του μεγάλου Επτανησίου ποιητή (1857), εξακολουθούν να απασχολούν τους ειδικούς.
