Ο Θανάσης Καβαλλιεράτος γεννήθηκε το 1986 στην Κεφαλονιά. Από το 2004 έζησε στην Αθήνα και στη Σύρο για σπουδές που τελικά δεν ολοκληρώθηκαν. Ασχολείται με τη συγγραφή από μικρή ηλικία. Το άσπρο βιβλίο είναι η τρίτη ποιητική συλλογή του. Έχουν προηγηθεί: Η φθηνή ζωή της Ιωάννας Ι. (Αλεξάνδρεια, 2009) και Το ημερολόγιο ενός άλλου (Αλεξάνδρεια, 2012).
