"...Σκέφτηκα να κάμω μια πνευματική περισυλλογή. Να συγκεντρώσω και να τυπώσω όσο Κεφαλονίτικο Ιστορικό και Λαογραφικό υλικό έχω δώσει σκορπιστά στον Κεφαλονίτικο Τύπο, στα τελευταία σαράντα χρόνια της πολυβασανισμένης ζωής μου.

Συγκεντρώνοντας και τυπώνοντας σε φυλλαδούλες τις πολύχρονες ιστορικές και λαογραφικές έρευνες μου κι ακόμα όλες τις πικάντικες αφηγήσεις όπου άκουσα και συγκέντρωσα. Πιστεύοντας έτσι πως θα προσφέρω κάτι και σε σας αλλά και στις ερχόμενες γενεές, το διδακτικό αλλά και το ευχάριστο..."
