Ένας φωτογράφος κι ένας ποιητής, ο Δημήτρης Ταλιάνης κι ο Διονύσης Καρατζάς, περιηγήθηκαν το Ιόνιο και αποτύπωσαν τις σκέψεις και τα συναισθήματά τους σε φωτογραφίες και σε λέξεις. Κυνήγησαν ανατολές, στήνοντας του ήλιου καρτέρι στα βουνά και στο πέλαγος. Ανεβοκατέβηκαν φέριμποτ και αυτοκίνητα, έτρεξαν, αλλά και παραφύλαξαν, να συλλάβουν το ιόνιο φως σε ζωντανά νερά που αντανακλούν ελευθερίες, σε βράχους που δοκιμάζουν τους ανέμους και σε γειτονιές που ξέρουν από χρώματα κι από παραμύθια. Πάλεψαν με σκιές και με σιωπές. Και πρόλαβαν τη δύση την ώρα της προσευχής και της υπόσχεσης.
